Eduardo Sánchez

Edgardo López began his career in combat sports in 2008 with kickboxing and Muay Thai.

In 2014, he joined Medieval Combat, a discipline in which he has excelled both nationally and internationally.

He was first selected to represent Mexico at the “Battle of the Nations” World Championship in 2016, held in the Czech Republic, and since then has competed in editions hosted in Spain (2017), Italy (2018), Serbia (2019), and Mexico (2022), where he also served as part of the National Team’s coaching staff.

Since 2018, he has been the Captain of Slavyanskiye Voiny (Slavic Warriors), one of the oldest medieval combat clubs in Mexico, and he coaches the largest women’s team in the country: Night Witches.

In the individual category known as “Profight,” lightweight division (-75 kg), he has won multiple national tournaments and has consistently remained among the top-ranked fighters in Mexico.
